American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in a supporting role in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt she played Willa McPherson, a reporter. She also appeared in the supporting role on the show with a short run The Ex List. She played Kaylee an infant Moira on the very first season of FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on NBC's This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and her moved to California [1The couple lived there for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she started to develop an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
